How to determine errors in the script?

All computer applications have problems from time to time, and it is inevitable. One can find actions and errors in a "Journal" tab, which is located at the very bottom of the MetaTrader 4 platform interface.

You should know that critical errors will only stop the script. When such error is detected, the program will notify you by the corresponding “error window.”

There are several possible reasons why the script does not perform its task: incorrect installation, incorrect parameter modifies, or you just did not close the platform before restarting.

It is also necessary to remember that the script performs its task only once at the time of launch, and for this task to be performed again, you must first close the program and then start it again. The script will not work for the second time on its own.

Often, to solve the problem, it is enough just to update the terminal settings. If the error cannot be fixed independently, contact the Forex broker or the MT4 support.
