Fitch downgraded the growth forecasts for the euro area’s economyFriday, 29 July 2016 18:45
Forecasts, concerning to GDP growth for the euro area for 2017 and 2018 have deteriorated. Experts estimate this figure to 1.4 %. It is 0.2 % less than the previous results. Lowering of the forecasts is due to the problems in the world economy, in particular the outcome of the vote on the British Brexit. Experts say about reduce in economic growth on 0.9 %, instead of the previously expected growth was 0.1 %. Fitch also reviews that their latest reports that Federal Reserve may raise its benchmark interest rate in the near future.
